Which has cheaper message rates?

Wati: ₹1.0357 for a marketing message and ₹0.1495 for a utility message on Growth (less on Business) against our ₹1.05 and ₹0.16. Replies inside 24 hours are free on both for the first 1,000 a month (per number on Squarebox, per WhatsApp Business Account on Wati); after that Wati charges its utility rate (₹0.1495 on Growth) and we charge ₹0.16.

What does "automation triggers" mean on Wati?

Every time a keyword rule or chatbot runs, it uses one trigger from a monthly quota: 1,000 on Growth, 2,000 on Pro. When it runs out, automations stop until you buy more or the month resets. Squarebox doesn't meter automations.

Does Squarebox have a free plan?

No. There's a 14-day free trial on Business with starter credit and no card. Wati has no free plan either; its 7-day trial only lets you message your own number.

Can I move my WhatsApp number from Wati to Squarebox?

Usually, yes, but check with us first: what carries over depends on how your WhatsApp Business account is set up. Message us before you switch.
