Google Sheets integration

Bring the leads and customers you already keep in a Google Sheet into Squarebox, so your team can follow up on WhatsApp from one inbox.

What it does

  • Imports rows from a Google Sheet you choose into your Squarebox customers.
  • Maps your sheet’s columns to Squarebox fields, including your custom fields.
  • Syncs on demand, or automatically once a day, so new rows keep arriving.
  • Keeps a log of every sync — success, partial or failed — so you can see what came in.

It brings data into Squarebox. It doesn’t write conversations or customer records back to your sheet.

How to set it up

  1. 01In Squarebox, go to Settings → Integrations and turn on Google Sheets.
  2. 02Click View Integration, sign in to Google and allow Squarebox to access your sheet.
  3. 03Choose the sheet and the tab you want to sync.
  4. 04Use Map Columns to match your columns to Squarebox fields.
  5. 05Choose Manual sync (you trigger it) or Automatic sync (it runs once a day).
  6. 06Check Sync Logs after the first run, and whenever something looks missing.

What people use it for

  • A lead sheet from a form, a portal export or a partner, so new rows become customers you can message and assign.
  • A registration list for an event, a batch or a camp, so everyone on it can get the same campaign.
  • Keeping Squarebox current as the sheet changes, without re-importing.

Questions

Questions

  • Both plans include Google Sheets.

  • No. It reads your sheet into Squarebox; nothing is written back.

  • Once a day.

  • The customer with that number is updated with the row’s details. If the number has changed but the email matches, their number is updated. If the email and the number belong to two different customers, nothing is changed and the row shows in Sync Logs for you to fix.

  • Yes — import a CSV, or a Google Sheet shared by public link, from the Customers page.
